I am a fully licensed psychotherapeutic counsellor, qualified to work with adults, teenagers and children alike. As a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I am committed to regular supervision, follow their ethical framework but most importantly, strive to deliver an outstanding level of service and treat each of my client with the respect they deserve.
I feel particularly passionate about the holistic approach and throughout the years, I have undertaken integrative training which allows me to draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques. In turn, this enables me to provide every one of my clients with a customized approach, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
I have a wealth of experience working with adults, young people and children through counselling at the North Kent MIND, as well as a number of primary and secondary schools, fostering agencies and residential units. This has helped me gain a deeper understanding for a range of counselling issues and disorders.
In my practice, I place particular emphasis on the client-centred approach. I am fully trained in a range of techniques, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Creative Therapy and Mindfulness, as well as Play Therapy skills for my younger clients.
I strive to treat my clients with patience, respect and understanding and provide them with a warm, supportive and non-judgemental approach that places your best interest at the centre of the therapy.
